Environmental Science and Resource Management Student

About me

I am a senior at California State University Channel Islands, studying Environmental Science and Resource Management. I first became fascinated with plants and animals during my childhood. I did not have many opportunities to travel to recreational outdoor sites, so my backyard became my oasis where my interest for the natural world grew.

Throughout my academic career I have reinforced my passion for ecological conservation and restoration. I am enthusiastic about research, being in the field, and working in laboratory settings. These are skills that have fueled internships and active research projects related to ecosystem disturbance and recovery. I hope to pursue a career in ecology and conservation.
